The Lady Knights had a perfect evening Thursday when they took back to back wins over Warner and Coalgate.
That series saw Henryetta run rule both games, winning 12-4 over Warner then 22-15 against Coalgate.
It was made even more special in the Coalgate contest when Henryetta compiled five home runs including two grand slams, one by M. Blackbear and the other from Lauren Lee. Lee's homer was the first of three back to back homers hit over center and right field by Miller and Blackbear.
In the opening game, the Lady Knights jumped out to a 3-1 lead in the first with Gobin, Miller and Blackbear scoring. Warner got one of the four Bulldog runs with a first-inning homer.
That first inning lead was strengthened in the second when Gobin, Blackbear, Lee, Miller and Joslin all scored on a series of walks and RBIs.
Warner picked up a second un in the third then two final runs on a two-run homer in the fifth.
Dwiggins, Hamric, Green and Smith added the final four runs for the Lady Knights in the fifth to end the game.
The late-night contest with the Coalgate Wildcats started out with Henryetta trailing 5-2 after the first inning then down 11-2 before the HHS girls came to bat in the second.
That's when the bats came out with two grand slams and three homers.
Green, Smith and Gobin walked to open that inning then Blackbear blasted over right field for a grand slam. Lauren Lee had two homers in that series including another grand slam. Coalgate added the final four runs for the Wildcats in the third with two home runs but Henryetta retaliated with both Blackbear sisters getting runs in the fourth then Gobin got a two run homer followed by an RBI by Miller for the final Henryetta runs.
