A 9-3 win by the Lady Knights against Dewar closed out the Okemah festival play Saturday.
Earlier in the day, Henryetta lost to Prague 9-5 then fell 7-2 to Preston.
The trip to the Win started in the first inning when Madelyn Blackbear doubled then scored on a triple by Jaylyn Joslin. Joslin would score on a single by Autumn Blackbear.
Dewar picked up an RBI run in the top of the second but the Lady Knights retaliated with Huleah Wincle, Emily Smith and Kasedi Gobin all crossing the plate to make it 5-1.
Wincle and Lexi Lollis would score on RBI hits in the third. That would be followed by Wincle and Kaylie Hamric scoring in the bottom of the fifth.
The Lady Dragons would score on hits to left field in the top of the fourth.
In the opening game, Henryetta was down 9-2 going into the sixth inning when it looked like the Lady Knights would make a comeback.
Ashtyn Green and Gobin each singled then scored on a triple by Madelyn Blackbear. A sacrifice fly to center by Joslin allowed Blackbear to score but that was going to end when Autumn hit a popup fly out to left.
Against Preston, the Lady Knights had Blackbear get a triple in the first then score on a fly out.
The lady Pirates would take the lead with three runs in the third then add one more run each for the remaining four innings.
A solo homer by Joslin in the fourth was the highlight of the HHS hits for the rest of the game.
