A fifth inning rally by the HHS Dirtbags sparked the way for an eventual 8-7 win over Keifer Friday afternoon.
The HHS team was down 4-2 going into that deciding frame after the Keifer Trojans a pair of runs in the second and two more in the fourth.
In the fourth, Jerad Fife and Cameron McKinney each were hit by pitches getting them on base then Andrew Morris walked setting the stage for the Knight return.
With bases loaded and no outs, Jean Pixler had a sacrifice out at left field scoring Fife. McKinney made it to third and waited for his opportunity. Lance Gouge struck out putting Henryetta in the hole with two outs. Drew Brown hit a grounder to left field that brought McKinney across home.
In the fifth, Ethan Wincle walked from a full count then stole second when Fife doubled into the hole at center bringing him in.
With two outs, Morris got a double by right field scoring Fife to tie up the game.
Pixler put a double past shortstop and left field to score Conner Bullard running for Morris giving Henryetta a 5-4 lead.
Lance Gouge also went to left scoring Pixler making it 6-4.
The Trojans came back with a run in the sixth to narrow the gap to 6-5 then Wincle got Henryetta fans on their feet with a solo homer
Up 7-5, Henryetta had to fend off one more attack when the Trojans tied the game at 7-7 in the seventh on a single and two-out double.
Ethan Palmer got a hit to get to first then Pixler got on with a bunt narrowly missing getting tagged for an out.
Gouge bunted for a single to load up the bases.
With no outs, Drew Brown hit a sacrifice fly to right and Palmer beat the throw back home for the winning run.
