Floyd Douglas "Doug" Fowler III, a resident of Noble, died March 26, 2019 in Oklahoma City at the age of 54. He was born Nov. 11, 1964 in Okmulgee to Floyd Douglas Fowler Jr. and Judith (Austin) Taber.
He grew up in the Salem community south of Henryetta.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; L.B. and Lorene Austin, Floyd and Dorothy Fowler, uncle Donnie Fowler, great grandmother, Beulah Turner, and by his cousin, Terry McCullough.
Doug is survived by his wife of 25 years, Vickie Barela of Noble; mother, Judy Taber and husband Jerry of Dewar; his father, Floyd Fowler Jr. and wife Betty of Seminole; children: David and Rasha Bradshaw, Alex Barela, Charley Dyer all of Norman, Karie Allen and husband Sean of Norman and Kathryn Smith of Bethany; grandchildren; Anthoni, Masin, Haydin, Savin, and Charmin Barela, Grace Adam Martin and Paisley Smith; two sisters: Cindy Watson of Grove, and Christine Poinsett and husband Jim of Mcloud; four brothers: Steven Fowler of Tulsa, Carlton Scott of Shawnee, Ronald Scott and wife Charmaine of Eufaula, and Thomas Scott and wife Catrina of Seminole; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Manny and Flora Barela; brother-in-law, Dennis Barela of Las Vegas, NM; sister-in-law, Christine Barela of Las Vegas, NM, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service is planned for a later time and will be posted as soon as the information becomes available.
