Twenty-five years with First Family Federal Credit Union is being recognized this week.
carriCarrie Marek began April 1, 1994 and went from a full-time teller to an accounting assistant following a computer conversion.
For the next ten years she worked in the accounting department then was named accounting supervisor in 2004. A promotion in 2013 placed her as vice-president then two years later, she was named executive vice-president.
“Carrie’s talents have contributed greatly to First Family’s recent growth and success,” said FFFCU CEO David Dykes.
Marek pointed out the organization had $25 million in assets when she started. “Now we are over $90 million. We had two locations and have grown to five locations and just opened our new corporate office in downtown Henryetta.”
