At the end of a relatively small election turnout, Gary Clason was elected to fill out the two years remaining on the Henryetta city council at large position.
Clason, who served on the council and as mayor from 2003 to 2005, received 143 votes while his opponent, Kyle Clason received 67. Clason will take his seat at the April 16 council meeting.
