Jeanie (Harkins) Polston, a resident of Henryetta, died April 5, 2019 in Henryetta at the age of 80. She was born March 6, 1939 in Henryetta to Joseph Rudolph "Rudy" Harkins and Ella Bell (Thompson) Harkins.
Jeanie was a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church in Henryetta and a graduate of Henryetta High School. She married Don Polston on November 9, 1957 at First United Methodist Church in Henryetta. She worked for several years at First National Bank of Henryetta as a teller and receptionist.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Rudy and Ella Belle Harkins, her husband, Don Polston and a daughter, Jill Coleman.
She is survived by a daughter, Julie Dill of El Reno, Oklahoma; two sons, Mike Polston of Henryetta and Chip Polston of Hudson, Florida; nine grandchildren: Daniel Dill and wife Darci; Justin Dill and wife Kara, Blake Coleman, Chase Polston, Sami Lewis and husband Mike; Coby Polston and Chris Whitlow; Joe Polston; Marissa Stuckey and husband Adam; Mayson Mathieu and husband Nolen; ten great grandchildren: Colton Stuckey, Corbin Stuckey, Taylor Dill, Luca Dill, Owen Dill, Hendrix Whitlow, Elliott Whitlow, Abigail Whitlow Kershaw Lewis, Laramie Mathieu, and Charlie Coleman; sister, Janet VanMeter of Henryetta; two brothers: Tom Harkins and wife Sarah of Muskogee and Don Harkins and wife Leslie of Colorado; brother-in-law, Kenny Polston and wife Jeanie of Tulsa; aunt, Doris Camp of Arizona; nieces and nephews: Joni VanMeter, Janna VanMeter, Brent VanMeter, April Polston Barnes, and Roger Polston; also a host of friends and other relatives.
Viewing for Jeannie will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Integrity Funeral Service.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Dill, Justin Dill, Chase Polston, Mike Lewis, Adam Stuckey, Nolen Mathieu, and Chris Whitlow.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 10 at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Kyle Kiner officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
