Gloria Jean LeGrand, a resident of Okmulgee, died May 1, 2019 in Okmulgee at the age of 66. She was born Aug. 7, 1952 in Weleetka to Pearline (Day).
Jean worked as the cafeteria manager in Okmulgee Public schools for 28 years.
She was a member of the International Order of Rainbow Girls of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a longtime member of Belvin Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joe LeGrand, her mama, Pearline Day, her mom, Georgia Dodge, son Mike LeGrand, brothers, Henry Jennings, Tommy Curran, Bobby Jennings, and Danny Day.
Jean is survived by her son, Matt LeGrand of Okmulgee; four daughters: Mary LeGrand of Okmulgee, Amy Grissom and husband Pookie, Jacque McGertt and husband Bryan, and Julie McCall; grandchildren: Miranda Brown and husband Jimmy of Sapulpa, Lakin LeGrand of Louisiana, Alexis LeGrand of Tulsa, Micka Walker of Okmulgee, Trenton LeGrand of Norman, Mackinze Walker of Okmulgee, Marshall LeGrand of Okmulgee, Linear Williams, Remy Williams, Braeden Williams,
Bailey Cusher, Brendan McCall, Jacy McCall, and KK McCall; Great grandson, Blake Brown of Sapulpa; two brothers: James Jennings and wife Joyce of Okmulgee, Kenny Jennings of Henryetta; sister, Lou Jennings of Tulsa; daughter-in-law, Deanna LeGrand of Okmulgee, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial Services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Integrity Chapel. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
