Longtime Henryetta and Dewar area resident Lloyd Dwayne Barnett died May 6, 2019 in Katy, Texas at the age of 79 after a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer. Lloyd was one of nine children born to Grover and Artie Barnett in Henryetta.
He was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Judith Ann Barnett; his parents; brothers, J.T., Cap, Junior and a sister, Nancy Whaley.
Lloyd served in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in San Antonio and later in Guam. He also served in the Oklahoma National Guard, 45th Infantry Brigade.
Lloyd worked for years as an industrial X-ray technician before starting his own X-ray and heat-treating business.
Lloyd is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Clark and husband Jeff of Lake Charles, LA; son Todd and wife Lori of Fulshear, TX; grandsons Chandler and Parker Barnett; granddaughter Sandie Clark; brothers Johnny, Troy, Glen and Robert as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held in Sulphur, LA.
