HHS alum Jenny Belcher Rowe was the guest speaker for the annual Beta Sigma Phi Senior Tea Tuesday afternoon.
Rowe urged the members of the Henryetta high school graduating class not to be afraid to reinvent themselves over the years and don’t, “try to fit in somebody else’s mold.” She said life is short and urged the girls to be themselves.
The tea stretches back to the inception of the 21st Century Club. Members of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority have been carrying on the tradition of the event since the 1960s.
