The annual Henryetta summer tennis program starts Monday morning at the Main Street courts. It will run through July 12.
tennis1Coach Dustin Mosco said the free lessons are available for children from four years old through 18. “We will have three different classes, one for beginners, another for intermediate players and an advanced class,” he said.
The beginners classes will be taught Monday through Thursday from 9 to 9:30 a.m. That will be followed by the intermediate lessons from 9:30 to 10:30.
Tennis players who have developed their skills and want to fine tune them will be in the advanced class starting at 10:30. The advanced classes will be taught Monday through Friday.
There is no charge for the lessons but everyone participating is asked to bring a tube of tennis balls.
