Emma Rose Jacobs was born Oct. 20, 1939 in Henryetta to Lewis and Mariah Harjo-Jacobs, she died June 15, 2019 in Tulsa, at the age of 79.
She lived most of her life in the Ryal community. Emma attended Ryal School and Graham School. She attended OSU-IT and received a degree in nursing and baking. For 10 years she was a cook at Salem-Ryal nutrition center. She was a member of Hickory Ground #1.
She was preceded in death by both parents, one brother, one sister, son Donnie McNac and, and great-grandson Blake McNac.
Emma is survived by her children: Michael Winap of the home, Lena Meely of the home, Norman McNac of Henryetta, Marcy Hill of Henryetta, Pam and Dwayne Chamberlain of Henryetta; 18 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren; two sisters; Netta Taylor and husband of Henryetta, Janet Taylor and husband of Henryetta; brother Lewis Jacobs Jr. of Henryetta, and a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and many friends.
Pallbearers will be Austin Jacobs, Brian Sharp, Ronnie Sharp, Wesley Chamberlain, Todd Chamberlain, Matt Chamberlain, and Adam Bear.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Kevin McNac, Erwin Bear, Chris Jacobs, Thomas Taylor, Mark Taylor and Steve Jacobs.
A wake service will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Integrity Funeral Service Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June19, 2019 at Hickory Ground #1 Indian Baptist Church with Rev. Marvin Lowe and Rev. Wallace Gambler, officiating. Interment will follow at Jacobs Family Cemetery south of Henryetta. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
