lollygag state

Even though a state championship was not to be, the Henryetta Lollygaggers posted an impressive record this summer.
The youngsters tallied 30 wins and only 12 losses, finishing the season as one of the top 12 teams in Oklahoma.
That journey to the state championship started with the Lollygaggers winning 7-4 over Caddo then run ruling Muskogee’s Thunder 14-7 in only four innings. They faced off against the Morris Hurricanes winning the first game 14-7 but lost to Morris in the championship round.
Going to the state as regional runner up, the determined Henryetta team repeated their run-rule attack winning over Morrison 13-5 in four innings.
Losses to Atoka’s Elite and Stilwell Indians knocked them out of contention for the state title. Atoka would go on to take the state championship.
