A love of reading paid off for Peyton Bailey and Joyce Dong this summer. They were the winners for a year's subscription to National Geographic following the Henryetta library's annual summer reading program.
The two read enough to have their names submitted in the drawing for the subscriptions and were honored this week by librarian JoAnn Hott.
The zsummer reading program had 51 elementary aged students and a dozen junior high students sign up to read for prizes and be a part of the six weekly programs.
Those programs ranged from remote controlled aircraft, rockets, painting, flying and even space-aged bingo.
