A record crowd came to the Jim Shoulders Living Legends rodeo this past weekend. This was the first time the rodeo had been sanctioned by the PRCA that brought some of the top rodeo cowboys and cowgirls to compete as they tried to earn enough money to participate in the National Finals Rodeo. Among the spectators watching the events were Clyde and Elsie Frost, parents of bull riding legend Lane Frost. They had front row seating along with Sharon Shoulders, wife of six-time all around cowboy Jim Shoulders.
One of the highlights before each evening's rodeo was the mutton bustin' featuring over 30 young cowboys and cowgirls trying to win trophy buckles presented by Hiatt Window and Glass.
