The three seniors on the Lady Knight softball team were honored Tuesday night.
During a special ceremony prior to the start of the HHS-Preston game, the three, Autumn Blackbear, Emily Smith and Kaylie Hamric, made their way around the bases receiving hugs and gifts from fellow team members.
Blackbear is the daughter of Farrel and Twyla Blackbear. She has played both fast- and slow-pitch softball for four years and basketball for four years.
Her future plans are to attend college and get a bachelors degree in nursing.
Smith is the daughter of Dennis and Michelle Smith. She was a member of the slow-pitch team for four years and fast-pitch for three years. She has been a member of the basketball team for four years, cheerleading two years and National Honor Society two years.
Following graduation, she wants to get a bachelors degree in pre-med and become a doctor.
Hamric is the daughter of Seth and Roberta Hamric. For four years, she has been on the fast-and slow-pitch softball teams, a member of the basketball team for four years and cheerleading for three years.
After graduation, she wants to get a degree in the medical field then later become a doctor.
