Three Valliant runs in the sixth inning ended the quest for a regional championship for Henryetta Friday. After taking an early lead, Henryetta saw the Lady Bulldogs tie up the game then go ahead to win 5-2.
Henryetta opened up the scoring when Skylar Morris singled then two bad throws sent Jaylynn Joslin and Kasedi Gobin home for a 2-0 lead in the first inning.
Valliant narrowed the lead when a line drive that put a run on the board in the bottom of the first for the Bulldogs.
In the fourth, a line drive homer over the fence tied up the score at 2-2.
A double and triple in the sixth and a walk in home run on bases loaded finished up the scoring for the day.
