Linard Ray Williams, a former resident of Henryetta, died Oct. 12, 2019 at the age of 90. He was born May 15, 1929 in Wetumka to Oscar Williams and Corabell Shaw Williams.
Linard worked for many years as a bus driver. He was a faithful member of the Northside Worship Center in Henryetta where he was baptized.
He is preceded in death by his former wife and best friend, Novell Williams in October, 2018; three children, Gilbert Don Williams in 1960, Shirley Lee Duff in 1994, and Betty Darlene King in 2014.
Linard is survived by his children, Barbara Kay Williams of Bristow, Albert Ray Williams and Wife Katherine of Bristow, Kathy Ann Goodwin and husband William of Kellyville, Sharon Lynn Taylor of Norman, Karen Gwynn Perkins and husband Robert of Kellyville, Donald Dean Williams of Sapulpa and Ronald Gean Williams of Okemah; daughter who recently connected with Linard and family, Judy Graves of Marland; 19 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren; also by a host of friends and other relatives;
Viewing will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, with family present to greet friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019 at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Will Gordon, officiating. Interment will follow in New Sonora Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
