Hoyle C. “Buddy” Blakely, Jr., 65, a long resident of Henryetta, died Jan. 17, 2020. He was born Nov. 30, 1954, in Huntington Park, Calif., to Hoyle C. Blakely, Sr., and Margie (Abruzzese) Blakely.
He is preceded in death by his parents Hoyle & Margie Blakely, also his brother Jack Blakely.
He is survived by two sisters, Elizabeth Kish & husband John of Gainesville, Fla., and Marjorie Blakely of Checotah; niece, Dianna Kish of Gainesville; three nephews: Jason Kish of Maple Grove, Minn., Jack Blakely, Jr., and Justin Blakely of Pembroke Pines, Fla.; grandniece, Branwynn Kish of Maple Gove; four grandnephews: Jared Kish, Jeffrey Kish, John Kish and Rory Kish, of Maple Grove; aunt, Vera Abruzzi of North Brunswick New Jersey; uncle Michael Radd of Palm Beach, Fla.; also, many cousins, friends and other relatives
At the family’s request, the casket will remain closed. However, friends are welcome to come and pay their respects and sign the memorial book.
Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2020, at 10 a.m., at Integrity Chapel with Chaplain Dave Peterson, from Grace Hospice, officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Services.
