Okmulgee VFW member Tom Payne is spearheading an effort to have a memorial honoring all fallen county servicemen and women installed at the court house.
He has been working on the project for nearly a year and met with Henryetta Rotary Club members Wednesday to explain the project and provide a progress report.
Payne said there would be some 200 names on the granite memorial that would be placed on the west side of the courthouse.
