Three Dustin residents were injured in a crash Friday afternoon near Schulter.
The crash at the intersection of US 75 and Bramble Road happened around 3 p.m. when a 1997 Dodge pickup driven by Bruce Peterson collided with a 2019 Dodge Challenger driven by Lahoma Smith.
According to OHP Trooper Levi Foreman, Peterson was apparently westbound on Bramble and tried to cross the highway. Peterson, 57, was alleged to have failed to stop for the stop sign.
Smith, 37, Dustin was flown to Saint John’s Hospital in Tulsa for treatment of head, arm and leg injuries. Two juvenile passengers in her vehicle, one aged 15 and the other age 13, were also injured. The 13-year-old was taken to Saint Francis Children’s Hospital in Tulsa for arm, leg and body injuries. The 15-year-old was treated at Okmulgee Hospital for a leg injury.
Peterson was not injured in the crash.
