In the opening track meet of the year, Henryetta’s girls placed 13th and the HHS boys placed 14 in overall points.
Bailee Worlow was the first place winner of the girls 400 meter dash with a time of 1:02.26. Cheyanne Thomas finished 11th and Kaylee Watson was 22nd in that contest.
Worlow went on to place fourth in the girls 899 meter run with a time of 2:37.52, just 13 seconds out of first place.
Henryetta had two runners in the scoring positions in the girls 100 meter dash with Thalia Pankey finishing 23rd and Neecie Gillin, 50th. Gillian would go on to finish 56th in the 200 dash with Pankey right behind her.
Austin Green posted a time of 2:08.08 in the boys 800 run that gave him fifth place.
Alex hudson was less than five seconds out of first when he finished 17th in the boys 400 meter dash and Jack Caywood was 32nd in the boys 200 meter dash. Blake Wynne placed in the 40 spot in the 100 meter dash.
The Knights had Wynne take home third place in the boys long jump with a distance of 18.04 feet.
James Martin was 12th in the boys 100 meter hurdles.
In the team events, Henryetta came in sixth in the 4x400 relay, eighth in the 4x800 meter relay and 13th in the 4x200 meter relay.
