Flora Louise "Wendy" Campbell, a resident of Henryetta, died March 23, 2020 in Henryetta at the age of 82. She was born Oct. 11, 1937 in Weleetka to Elvin E.O. Ware and Myrtle (Wood) Ware.
She was a homemaker.
Flora was a published poet and was recognized and awarded the merit certificate from the World Of Poetry, she was also known locally for her poem on the Henryetta Dough Boy. She also was honored with the Golden Poet Award in 1987 for her poem "Roses". She was a gifted artist, songwriter and singer.
Flora was a member of The New Covenant Tabernacle.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul Gordon Campbell, second husband, Richard Glenn Wilder, two children, Karen Gay Campbell and Kevin Paul Campbell.
She is survived by four children: Kim Fowler and husband Dennis of Henryetta, Kena Campbell and husband Eddie Holland of North Dakota, Kristen Lay and husband Robert of Henryetta, and Jeremy Blake and wife Denise of Dewar; stepchildren: Cathy Ritter and husband John of Henryetta, Glenn Wilder Jr. and wife Dawn of Henryetta, and Ann Wilder of Henryetta; seven siblings: Gail Keys and husband James of Dustin, Wayne Ware of Texas, Barbara Mote and husband Tommy of Dustin, Mary Collins of Henryetta, Gary Ware of Nebraska, Vicki Southern of Texas, and Terry Ware and wife Brenda of Henryetta; as well as a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, step grandchildren, and step great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Integrity Chapel on Wednesday, March 25, and from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday.
Graveside services will be broadcast from the Integrity Funeral Service Facebook page on Friday, March 27, 2020 at 10AM.
