The hospital will assist the entire community with the revamped emergency room, and serve Native Americans through the clinic.
The 25-inpatient bed facility will replace the existing aging structure and provide a cornerstone for comprehensive wellness in the community. The 116,000 square foot structure will feature a critical access hospital, ambulance base and outpatient clinic complete with specialty services and a community health and wellness center.
The wellness center will provide follow-up physical therapy and essential health education for diabetes and general exercise.
Outpatient services will include audiology, laboratory, pediatric and radiology services. The specialty clinic will offer cardiology, orthopedic, nephrology and oncology services.
All components of the hospital will open in 2017, and additions to the facility will be considered based upon community need.
