Henryetta police have covered part of a nearly $10,000 theft at Whitlock Sawmill Saturday.
Police chief Steve Norman said one person is in custody and there is another person of interest being sought in the case.
“We were able to develop our leads by talking to a number of individuals and found one of the saws at a house in Henryetta Monday morning,” Norman said.
The break-in at the long-established saw mill resulted in nine industrial-size chain saw being stolen.
Pawn shops throughout the area were alerted to be on the watch for those saws.
Police are also looking for a man and woman who stole laundry from a Henryetta laundromat Saturday.
The two were seen on video taking the clothes and walking out of the business with them in a basket.
