Jimmy Grover Stacy, a resident of Henryetta, died July 24, 2020, in Tulsa at the age of 78. He was born May 27, 1942, in Pharoah delivered to Elmer and Mildred (Sanders) Stacy by his grandmother, Lily Dearman Stacy.
In 2002, he married the love of his life, Linda (Susie) Darlene Grimes, who predeceased him by one year, one month and one day.
Jim worked for many years at Mack Truck, and Sun Oil Company in Tulsa before opening J and L Diesel in 1983. He was a member of the Dewar United Pentecostal Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife Linda Grimes Stacy; his parents, Elmer and Mildred Stacy; two brothers, Tim Stacy and Leroy Stacy; and a sister, Linda Stacy.
Survivors include four children: Jimmy Joe Stacy of Tulsa, Trina Waltman and husband Kevin of Bixby, Phillip Stacy of Henryetta;, Jason Stacy of Tulsa; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Rev. Kenneth Stacy and wife Barbara of Victoria, Mississippi, Rev. Jerry Stacy and wife Deb of Seminole, Clifford Stacy and wife Debbie of Sapulpa, Louise Kempton of Henryetta, Kathy Booze and husband Gary of Jenks and June Lewis of Glenpool; also by a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Stacy, Jason Stacy, Kevin Waltman, Dylan Waltman, Mercedez Waltman and Allie Trout. Honorary pallbearers will be Rev. Jerry Stacy, Rev. Kenny Stacy and Clifford Stacy.
Viewing will be from 4 until 8 p.m., Wednesday July 29 at Integrity Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Integrity Funeral Service Chapel, with Rev. Matthew Martin and Rev. Rick Fuller officiating. Interment will follow in Duck Creek Cemetery in Liberty Mounds under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
