Annie Brown, a resident of Hitchita, died Sept 18, 2020 in Hitchita at the age of 87. Annie was born Sept, 15, 1933, in Council Hill, to Birdie Brandon Potts and Hector Potts. Ann spent her childhood in Hitchita with her three sisters, Jo, Deanie, and Jessie Mae, and brother, Sammy. Ann married her soulmate Earl, known by everyone as Pete, Aug. 2, 1951, in Kingman, Ariz.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Pete, her parents, Hector and Birdie Potts, sisters, Josephine Brown, Gearldean Hammons, and Jessie Mae Carson, and her brother, Sam Potts.
She is survived by her sons Jack Brown and wife Sherri of Katy, Tex., and Junior Brown of Schulter; grandchildren: Ashley Brown, Laura England and husband
Brandon, and Tyler Brown and wife Darby; great grandchildren: Payten, Caileigh, Colton, Preslee, Connor, and James Peter. Annie leaves behind a host of other family and friends.
Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, Sept. 25, 2020 at Council Hill Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Carson, officiating. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service in Henryetta.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Brown, Brandon England, Reeves Hammond, David Carson, Gary Brown, and John Wayne Carson.
