For the fifth consecutive month and seventh month this calendar year, the sales tax money coming back to Henryetta has increased.
The October distribution from the Tax Commission amounted to $242,471, a gain of $13,823 from a year ago. That puts the total this year at $2,469,341 compared to $2,346,819 at the same time in 2019.
The Henryetta use tax return was also up with $17,903 this month compared to $20,307 last year.
Dewar’s city treasury deposited a $15,381 check this month, up $5,956 from a year ago.
