Five Henryetta high school cross country team members gave their all this week at the state 3A championship in Edmond.
Cheyanne Thomas finished the 3200 meter run in 15:26.57. That gave her 97th place in a field of 159. The fastest time for the girls was run by Natalia Clevland from Regent Preparatory with a 12:08.36.
In the boys 5K run, Xander Lollis, an HHS sophomore had a time of 20:09.95 to put him in 61st place. Another HHS sophomore, Blake Wynne, finished 73rd just 27 seconds behind Lollis. Justin Worlow, a freshman, had a time of 20:46.61 followed by Austin Green, HHS senior, with a 21:34.26.
Marlow high school would claim the 3A boys championship while Regent Preparatory took top honors for the girls.
