An investigation is still underway into the cause of a Christmas morning fire that destroyed a century-old house. The fire broke out shortly after 6 a.m. and quickly engulfed the two-story house at the intersection of North Third and Gentry. Fire crews from Henryetta and Dewar were called to the scene and had the blaze under control in about an hour. The house has been undergoing renovation for several years.
