Roy Clarence Kissee, a longtime resident of Henryetta, died Jan 6, 2021 in Oklahoma City at the age of 89. He was born Nov 16, 1931 to William Bennie Kissee and Georgia A. (Hacker) Kissee.
Roy married Sandra Kay Webster Feb. 16, 1968 in Poteau. He retired from Anchor Glass Company in 1994 after 18 years.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Kissee, daughter Cheryl Kissee, his parents, William and Georgia Kissee, brothers, William Kissee and Robert Kissee.
Roy serviced in the United States Army and was the primary provider for his family working as a farmer, truck driver, milk-man, North American Rockwell and at Anchor Glass for 18 years.
Roy is survived by his sons, Rex Kissee of Henryetta, Ray Kissee and wife Verna of Henryetta, Roger Kissee and wife Paula of Henryetta; daughters, Kristina Grist and husband Darrell of Henryetta and Sheila Kissee of Glenpool; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; brothers; Jim Kissee of Rogersville, Missouri; Lonnie Kissee of Rogersville, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing for Roy will be from 2 to 8 p.m, Sunday, Jan. 10, 2020 at Integrity Funeral Service.
Pallbearers will be Rocky Kissee, Connor Bullard, Austin Bullard, Christopher Kelch, Lane Wallace and Dustin Corkerin. Honorary pallbearers will be, Rex Kissee, Ray Kissee, Roger Kissee, Darrell Grist, Joshua Kissee, John Tyler Lee and Little Rex.
The family request that all who attend please wear a mask.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Monday, Jan. 11, 2021 at Integrity Chapel. Interment will follow in Hanna Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
