James Adrian Lee, a former Henryetta resident, died Feb. 1. 2021 at the age of 48. He was born July 30, 1972 in Okemah to Jimmie R. Lee and wife Nancy Pack Lee.
Adrian grew up in Henryetta graduating from Henryetta High school class of 1990. After high school Adrian joined the Army National Guard. He worked for his father's company Ace Home Improvement, then went on to graduate from Tulsa Welding School. Adrian went to work for WSI Welding Service out of Atlanta, GA. He then attended OSUIT of Okmulgee where he received a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering. After school he went on to work for Topographic Land Surveying in Oklahoma City. Adrian then went back to OSUIT to teach Civil Engineering. After his program ended he then went on to work for RPLS LLC Surveying Co. of Edmund.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents James Paul Lee and Retta Perale Lee of Okemah; maternal grandparents Howard Pack and Armilda Pack of Midwest City.
He is survived by his parents Jimmie R. Lee and wife Nancy Pack Lee of Henryetta; daughter Penelope (Penny) R. Lee Martin and husband David W. Martin; three granddaughters: Calliope, Cora, and Charlotte of Henryetta; brothers: Matthew R. Lee and wife Kim A. Lee and William Paul (Bill) Lee and wife Melissa D. Lee and niece Laynè of Bixby; two nieces: Ryan and Reece; two nephews: Koehn and Keaton of Tahlequah; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was also a loving father to Jacob Adams and Brandi Adams
Acting pallbearers are Wayne Lee, Robin Lee, Eric Wilson, Chad Haberman.
Funeral services will be held Feb. 9, 2021 at 2 p.m. at the Church of Christ in Okemah.
