The John Artussee road bridge that spans the Indian Nation turnpike has been closed for several weeks after it was damage by a large truck. Workers are on the scene replacing the damaged span with a tight deadline looming over them. They were given 48 hours from Tuesday night to close one of the northbound turnpike lanes and hope to meet that deadline. The damage has forced residents to take a four mile detour around the accident scene.
