Monday and Tuesday were productive days for the Henryetta Middle School Knights as they took a 3-1 win against Twin Hills then backed it up with a 9-8 victory over Beggs.
In the Twin Hills game, Henryetta trailed 1-0 until the third inning when Will Perez, Mavrix Randleman and Boston Morris scored the three runs on RBIs.
Randleman was on the mound for HMS allowing five hits and striking out 11 batters.
In the Beggs game, the Henryetta team was again on the bottom side of the scoreboard when the young Demons scored on a single in the first inning.
Henryetta had a five run lead in the fourth inning but Beggs came back to tie it up at 6-6. Henryetta was not done with the scoring, picking up three runs in the fifth while holding Beggs to only one for the win.
Perez started the game for Knights. The righty lasted three and a third innings, allowing two hits and seven runs while striking out six. Skylar Greenhaw got the win for Knights. Greenhaw allowed one hit and one run over one and two-thirds innings, striking out three.
The Knights collected nine hits on the day. Tayler Hamric, James Joslin, and Randleman all managed multiple hits for Knights. Hamric led the Knights with three hits in three at bats.
