The Henryetta high school summer drivers education program will begin May 24 for the June session and July 1 for the July session.
According to instructor Mike Hughes, the classroom hours will be completed through the virtual classroom program.

May classes will be held May 24 through May 27 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The July classes will b e July 1 through July 6 at the same hours. State requirements call for 30 hours of classroom education and six hours actual driving time.
Driving times will be arranged through emails.
He said masks are to be used by everyone in the vehicles and students should not wear sandals, flip-flops or open toed shoes when driving. All students must be 15 years old prior to the start of classes.
