For years Henryetta and area youngsters have been learning the sport of tennis. Some have taken that basic knowledge and become high school champions and earned trips to the state playoffs.
Once again the free tennis lessons will be available starting May 31 at the Henryetta tennis courts on West Main Street.
Taught by high school coach Dustin Mosco, the six-week program will be held Monday through Thursday with two sessions each day.
Youngsters from second through fifth grade will receive instruction from 9 a.m. to 9:45. They will be followed by sixth through 12th graders from 10 a.m. to noon.
The coach said there is no cost for the lessons but a donation of one can of tennis balls for each participant would be appreciated.
Anyone with questions should contact Mosco at 918-650-2330.
