An Okemah man was flown to a Tulsa hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in a crash involving two motorcycles late Monday night.
John Wilson, 40, received head injuries in the crash on Interstate 40 four miles west of Henryetta.
According to OHP Trooper William Landsheft, he was driving a 1993 Harley Davidson Sportster motorcycle that collided with a 2009 Honda Rebel motorcycle driven by Kelly Lindsay, 52, also of Okemah.
Both vehicles were said to have been going westbound on I-40 when the collision occurred. The motorcycles overturned and slid nearly 200 feet along the roadway before stopping.
Wilson received head injuries in the crash. Lindsay received treatment at the scene by Okmulgee County EMS.
Trooper Landsheft said the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
