James "Jimmy" Lonnie Kafer, age 71, longtime former resident of Henryetta and current resident of Jenks, died Sept. 21, 2021 in Henryetta. James was born July 31, 1950 in Fort Smith, Ark. to Frank and Mazetta (Lyle) Kafer.
James was a professor at the Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Penny Kafer, and a daughter-in-law, RaeAnnon Kafer.
James is survived by four children, John Michael Kafer and wife Sheena of Bixby, Donald Frank Kafer of Jenks, Jane Ann Oaks and husband J.R. of Henryetta, Samantha Irene Snow and husband Jeff of Glenpool; six grandchildren: Colton Kafer, Priestley Kafer, Donovan Kafer, J.A. Oaks, Evie Oaks and Hank Snow; also by his partner, Linda Byrne of Henryetta.
Viewing will be Friday, Sept. 24, 2021 from 5 till 8 p.m. at Integrity Funeral Service.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021 at Integrity Chapel in Henryetta. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta.
