The driver of a pickup that crashed Tuesday is recovering from his injuries.
Henryetta police say the driver was 30-year-old Daniel Nole. He was taken to St. Johns Hospital in Tulsa for treatment of his injuries when a Dodge pickup he was allegedly driving went off the road and crashed east of Dewar Tuesday night.
No charges have been filed yet in that incident. Nole was arrested in 2005 for larceny of an automobile and served five years in prison.
In Tuesday's incident, the pickup was said to have been stolen in Henryetta. Police officers from Henryetta and Dewar were trying to apprehend the driver when the crash occurred. Because the driver was unresponsive when he was pulled rom the vehicle, officers had to wait a day to learn his identity.
