Members of the Henryetta high school tennis team made a trip to Norman for the Red River Rivalry matchup and, while there, got to meet a legend from their hometown.

Mark Johnson is a former state champion when he played for the Henryetta Hens and has added a number of area and national titles to his resume. He met with the Knight team for part of the tennis match then had dinner with the students.

“Coach Johnson loves his hometown Henryetta Tennis family and is still very much involved with supporting the program,” said HHS tennis coach Dustin Mosco. 

“Our students got to see some great tennis then, to visit with someone of Mark’s stature was just an additional treat.”
