The Henryetta tennis program has and continues to produce champion players each year.
Many of those winners got their start at the Main Street courts participating in the summer tennis lessons.
This year the lessons will start May 31 and run through July 8.
Coach Dustin Mosco said two sessions will be offered, one for children from second through fifth grades from 9 to 9:45 a.m. and the other for sixth through 12th grades from 10 a.m. to noon.
“This is a good way for the younger students to get acquainted with the game and the older children to improve their game,” Mosco said.
There is no charge for the lessons but Mosco asked that one can of tennis balls per each participant would be appreciated.
Future tennis stars can sign up on May 31 or the first day they attend lessons.
