oceans of possibilites

This summer area youngsters will be diving into books as they discover all the possibilities that awaits them.
After a couple of years hiatus with the pandemic, the summer reading program is going to start once again.
It is open for children from first through eighth grade and will be held at the Veterans Park next to the library. Each program will start at 1:30 and be held each Monday in June and the second and third Mondays in July.
According to librarian Joann Hott, there will be reading as well as games and activities for everyone.
"Students can also earn prizes for reading throughout the summer," she said.
Parents need to come to the library and register their children starting May 31. There is no charge to be a part of the program.
