Pyatt Henry (P.H.) Cook, a former Henryetta resident, died May 11, 2022 at the age of 87.
He was born Dec. 15,1934, in Henryetta and grew up as a son of a Pentecostal preacher, with four other siblings. The war in Korea drew him into the Air Force, and while journeying to his next duty station, P.H. met, dated, then married his lifelong sweetheart, Jacklyn (Remy) Cook July 14,1955.
After MSGT Cook retired from the Air Force, he entered the FAA, serving for another 20 years.
After retirement he became a Baptist minister.
Survivors include his wife Jackie, son Ronald, and daughter Connie; 10 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren.
Graveside and burial with full military honors rendered will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday, May 23, 2022 in Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038. Eickenhorst Funeral Home in Houston is in charge of the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations and contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to a charity of your choice.
