Two Okmulgee residents were injured in a crash shortly before 10 Thursday morning a mile north of Henryetta.
The two, Bruce Webb, jr., 28, and Betty Milligan, 62, were in a 2009 Dodge SUV that was parked on the northbound shoulder of US 72 just north of US266.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a 1988 Chevrolet truck driven by Richard Gill jr., 52, Stillwater, was northbound on US 75. It was said to have gone off the roadway striking the SUV and rolling it over onto its top.
Webb, who was the SUV driver, was first treated at Okmulgee Memorial Hospital then flown to St. Johns Hospital. He was said to have received trunk and internal injuries.
Milligan was taken to the Henryetta Medical Center then was also flown to St. Johns for treatment of head and internal injuries.
Both were pinned in the SUV for about 15 minutes and had to be extricated by the Henryetta Fire Department.
According to OHP Trooper Brian Warren, seat belts were worn by the occupants of both vehicles.
