A Henryetta man was hospitalized following a two-vehicle accident near Okmulgee early Wednesday morning.
According to the OHP, Stacy Phillips, 23, was taken to St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa for treatment of next and leg injuries.
Trooper Brian Warren said Phillips was the driver of a 2004 BMW that was going west on OK 56 Loop when his vehicle went left of the center line and collided with a 2014 Ford Explorer driven by Maria Montano, 21, Bartlesville. Phillips was said to have been pinned in his vehicle until he could be freed by the Okmulgee Fire Department using the HURST tool.
Two passengers in the Ford Explorer, Jacob Rainey, 27 and Amy Rainey, 27, both of Beggs were taken to Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa for treatment of injuries. A one-year-old child in that vehicle was said to have been uninjured.
