An area marijuana grow operation was closed down following a raid by the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics (OBN).
OBN agents servied a search warrant at A-Ok Green Grow, Inc., northeast of Okemah after large loads of marijuana were allegedly being moved from this farm to New York.
OBN seized 20,000 plants (all plants were tagged with the new Metrc RFID tags as required by state law) and 790 pounds of processed marijuana in containers ready to be shipped. According to Okfuskee County Sheriff Rasmussen, it took five dump truck loads to remove the seized plants.
Three people believed to be of Chinese descent were arrested on several felony charges. Those arrested were Xiao Feng Xie, Zebin Chen, and Guorong Zeng. Bond was set for $100,000 each. The bond was set based on the cultivation of marijuana, possession of a firearm in commission of a felony and trafficking of controlled dangerous drugs.
