A Henryetta man was the victim of a drowning accident at lake Eufaula Monday afternoon.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol David Duvall, 66, drowned at Gentry Creek park around 3 p.m.
The search was started after a report of an abandoned boat in the water and a pickup parked on the boat ramp with the trailer in the water.}The boat had floated nearly two miles from the ramp. }Duvall's body was recovered shortly after 6 a.m. Tuesday morning nearly 200 yards west of the boat ramp in seven feet of water.
Trooper Scott Lee, a member of the Marine Enforcement Division, said no personal flotation device was in use.
