David Dennis Duvall, a resident of Henryetta, died Aug. 1, 2022 at the age of 66. He was born July 12, 1956 to James “Jip” and Leoma (Brogdon) Duvall in Okmulgee. David grew up in Hitchita. He attended Midway School in Council Hill and graduated in 1974.
After graduation, David joined the United States Army. After discharging from the Army David worked in the glass plant industry for a combined 47 years at Ball in Okmulgee and Anchor in Henryetta. David retired in January, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dusty Duvall; several aunts and uncles.
David is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Sisson and husband Todd of Checotah; son, Spurr Duvall of Checotah; daughter, Tiffany "Marie" Hilliard and husband Josh of Yukon; grandchildren, Conner, Rylee, and Carter Sisson of Checotah; Laynie Duvall of Checotah; Arya and Lennox Hilliard of Yukon; brother, Joe Bob Duvall and wife Joyce of Hichita; mother of his children, Freda Duvall; lifelong friend he considered a sister Debbie Collins; niece, Paula Ross and husband Darrell of Hitchita; niece Tracy Durrett and husband Asa of Hitchita; nephew Dusty Duvall and wife Malinda of Checotah; Uncle Emmit Duvall and wife Athaleen; aunts, Lavon Duvall and Louise Duvall. He is also survived by great and great-great nieces and nephews, lots of cousins, extended family, friends considered family, and a lifetime of friends.
Graveside service will be held on Monday, Aug. 8, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Lackey Cemetery in Hitchita.
