Lillian Louise (Dickey) Peters, a resident of Oklahoma City, died Aug. 6, 2022 in Oklahoma City at the age of 90. She was born Oct. 17, 1931 in Featherston, Okla., to Truman Thomas (T.T.) Dickey and Mary Franklin (Carter) Dickey.
She married Ervin Edward Peters Dec. 22, 1946 in Haskell County, near Enterprise, at her parents home. She worked as a store clerk at Target for many years. She was a member of Apostolic Worship Center in Norman.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ervin E. Peter, a son, Charles Dwayne Peters, siblings, Earl Dickey, Merl Dickey, Marie Donathan, Jack Dickey, Wayne Dickey and Bernice Hatmaker, as well as a son-in-law, Michael Clark.
She is survived by four children: Nema Clark of Oklahoma City, Chris Peters and wife Sandy of Oklahoma City, Carlton Peters and wife Linda of McCloud and Paul Peters and wife Cheryl of Wayne; 12 grandchildren: Lisa Housley and husband Robert, Derek Hanson and wife VeNisa, Dustin Hanson and wife Lori, Donal Hanson and wife Christy; Chris (Bo) Peters and wife Molly, Peyton Peters and wife Landon; Grace Peters, Charlie Peters II; Tayor Tate, Gregory Peters and wife Krista, Garrett Peters and wife Jessica; Grant Peters; 16 great grandchildren: Ashley Guinn and husband Nate, Christian Hanson and wife Madison, Aubrey Hanson, Daylen Hanson and wife Alex, Madelyn Michael and husband Justin, Hannah Hanson, Brech Peters, Emma Peters, Preston Peters; Bostyn, Brady, Bohdi, Kiera Peters, Kenzie Peters, Rhett Peters, and Remy Louise Peters;
Two great-great grandchildren, Liylah Hanson and Olivia Guinn; brother, Carl Don Dickey and wife Donna of Henryetta; sister, Wanda Bardin of Dewar; also by a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Christian Hanson, Daylen Hanson, Taylor Tate, Preston Peters, Brech Peters, and Grant Peters.
Viewing will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug., 11, 2022, and 8 a.m. until noon Friday at Integrity Funeral Service.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Friday, Aug. 12, 2022 at Dewar United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Kevin Borders officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
