The Lady Knights were in charge Monday when they shut out the Lady Demons from Beggs 16-0.
Three Henryetta home runs were the highlight of the three inning contest Opening the game, Serenity Rex hit an inside the park homer then Kassedi Lee parked the ball over the left field fence in the first inning. That allowed Alanee Hicks, Brooklyn Baughman and Shelby Kilhoffer to score putting Henryetta up 5-0.
The second inning was all Henryetta with Rex getting a triple scoring Kilhoffer then Hicks singled to bring Rex across home plate.
Lee doubled scoring Hicks and Baughman. Lee stole home then Kenley Miller singled scoring Skylar Morris and Chloe Swearingen.
In the third, Kilhoffer went yard over center field followed by Baughman grounding a single scoring Rex and Winter Beaver getting a double to center scoring Baughman. Lee would score the final run for Henryetta with a Miller grounder.
The Lady Knights had 14 hits in that game while Beggs was kept scoreless. Kilhoffer did the pitching for Henryetta allowing only one hit and striking out nine. So far this year, she has given up 81 hits while striking out 99 opponents.
Sharing the rubber with her has been Rex who has allowed 47 hits with 35 strikeouts.
As the season draws to a close, Henryetta has a 16-15 season record. Still ahead is a home game with Beggs Tuesday, followed by a trip to Dale Thursday then final home contest with Bristow Sept. 27.
